What is the diferent between this workshop and a Childbirth class?

This workshop isn’t a traditional childbirth education class—it’s designed to complement one.


While a childbirth education class covers topics like stages of labor, interventions, and newborn care, this workshop focuses on your body’s mechanics during birth.


You'll learn:

  • Movements and positions that create optimal space in your pelvis.
  • How to adapt birth positions for a smoother, more efficient labor.
  • Practical tools for your birth partner to help with comfort and progress.


Together, these techniques prepare your body and mind to work with your baby during labor, enhancing whatever you learn in a childbirth class.

How do I know if I should join the Prenatal Exercise Series or the Body Ready Birth Workshop?

Both programs offer unique benefits.

  • Prenatal Exercise Series: Focuses on staying active, managing pain during pregnancy, and preparing your body for an easier pregnancy and recovery.
  • Body Ready Birth: Prepares your pelvis and body for an efficient and empowered birth using movements and positions that create optimal space and ease during labor.

At what point in pregnancy should I do the Body Ready Birth Workshop?

It’s never too early. Practicing these movements builds muscle memory and creates optimal space for labor.

I’m already 35 weeks pregnant. Is it too late to start?

No! It’s not too late. Even starting now, you can learn techniques to help make your birth experience smoother and more efficient.

I haven’t worked out in months. Can I do this?

Absolutely! This is not a workout program. It is a workshop that incorporates movement. The movements are designed to be accessible and help prepare your body for birth, regardless of fitness level.

What if the exercises are too hard for me?

You are always welcome to skip or modify anything that feels uncomfortable—that's what I'm here for! I’m here to guide and support you, and I’ll help you adjust the exercises to fit your body’s needs.
